Read this passage and underline the present simple tense:

HE SAID, SHE SAID

He said, she said is an American movie that stars Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth Perkins. Actor Kevin Bacon plays Dan Hanson, a successful young reporter who earns a good salary and dates many women. However, his life changes completely when he meets Lorie Bryer (Perkins).

A fellow reporter, Lorie sees in him everything she dislikes about men. Dan and Lorie start working together on a newspaper article. In the process, they fall in love with each other although they can’t agree on almost anything. The rest of the film shows the difficulties of the relationship, although it often seems that everything in Dan and Lorie’s lives is perfect.
