David Copperfield
At the birth of
David,his rich ant Betsey was sad because it was not a girl.He is raised by his
lonley mother whos housebend died and by Clara Pegotty.His childhood is ruined
by Mr.Murdstone that will later be his father.When Jane,Murdstone sister,moved
in they started terrorising his mother and with anger David bitten Murdstone's
hand.As a punishment he was sent to Salem House.There he makes 2 friends Tommy
and James.His days of school are intrerupted by his mother's death.He went back
home and Murdstone found him a job in London on an whine business.He was
staying in the apartment of Micawber family.When the Micawber family went to
London David ran to his and Betsey.He manages to make friends with
Mr.Dick,Mr.Wickfield,Agnes,Uriah Heep,Mr.Strong,Annie and his cousen Jack
Maldon
When David becomes
mature he is sent to London
to make a career. There he meets James again and goes to see Pegotty and her
family.David and Betsey go to Spenlow to get a job,there
he meets Dora and falls in love with her.Betsey loses all her money and moves
with David living on a low budget.After the death of Spenlow he engages with
his daughter Dora and works hard to make money.David maries her and moves into a house near Betsey.
After Dora gave
birth to a dead child she got really sick.David goes to Canterburry to see Micawber and Traddles.Micawbers
go to Australia with some money from Betsey.David goes back to London to take
care of Dora but Agnes is the one who stays with her until she dies.Full of
pain David helps the Micawbers to go to Australia.In that night a terrible
storm broke.David goes to Switzerland to write and novel about his
experiences.He also thinks very much about Agnes whom he loved all his life.
He moves back to England where
he maries her.
